Login to Perpetua from your website, choose Add Content, and select Content Box. In a separate window, go to http://twitter.com/about/resources

To add a 'Follow' button:

  1. Click ' Create Follow Button' on the Twitter Resources homepage
  2. Type in your user name.
  3. Choose your background color, and if you'd like the # of people following your twitter account shown. 
  4. Copy the code that appears on the right hand of your screen.
  5. Return to the Administration Console for the new Content Box you just created in Perpetua.
  6. Toggle the WYSIWIG Editor (uncheck the box) and remove any default text and/or title.
  7. Paste the code into the box and click Add Content.

That's it! You may want to arrange your new media on your page via Sort Content.

To add a 'Tweet' button:

  1. Click 'Create Tweet Button' on the Twitter Resources homepage.
  2. Choose options related to:
    a) whether or not you'd like to show how many people follow you and if that is pictured vertically or horizontally
    b) what text appears when someone tweets info from your site
    c) recommending default Tweet account for your viewers
    d) recommenting other people (on Twitter) for your viewers to follow
    e) what language your button appears in
    -or- just keep the default settings.
  3. Optional - Recommend other people (on Twitter) for your viewers to follow.
  4. Copy the code shown.
  5. Return to the Administration Console for the new Content Box you just created in Perpetua.
  6. Toggle the WYSIWIG Editor (uncheck the box) and remove any defult text and/or title.
  7. Paste the code into the box and click Add Content.

That's it! You may want to arrange your new media on your page via Sort Content.

To add a 'Profile Widget' that displays all your most recent Tweets:

  1. Click 'See All Widgets' on the Twitter Resources homepage
  2. Select 'My Website' in the lefthand menu
  3. Select 'Profile Widget"
  4. Type in your user name - i.e. artistrymktg
  5. Click 'Preferences' and select options to customize your display i.e. the number of tweet that appear at one time or how often the tweets refresh. Click Test Settings to preview.
  6. Click 'Appearance' and select background and font colors. 
  7. Click Dimensions to adjust the dimentions of the box as it will appear on your website.
  8. Click 'Finish & Grab Code' at the bottom of the page.
  9. Copy the code shown on the page.
  10. Return to the Administration Console for the new Content Box you just created in Perpetua.
  11. Toggle the WYSIWIG Editor (uncheck the box) and remove any defult text and/or title.
  12. Paste the code into the box and click Add Content.

That's it! You may want to arrange your new media on your page via Sort Content.

To add a 'Search Widget' that displays all Tweets in reference to your organization:

  1. Click 'See all widgets' on the Twitter Resources homepage
  2. Select 'My Website' in the left hand menu
  3. Select 'Search Widget'
  4. Type in the name of your organization or ministry and give your scroll box a Title and Caption (optional)
  5. Click 'Preferences' and select options to customize your display i.e. the number of tweets that appear at one time or how often the tweets refresh. Click Test Settings to preview.
  6. Click 'Appearance' and select background and font colors.
  7. Click Dimensions to adjust the dimentions of the box as it will appear on your website.
  8. Click 'Finish & Grab Code' at the bottom of the page.
  9. Copy the code shown on the page.
  10. Return to the Administration Console for the new Content Box you just created in Perpetua.
  11. Toggle the WYSIWIG Editor (uncheck the box) and remove any defult text and/or title.
  12. Paste the code into the box and click Add Content.

That's it! You may want to arrange your new media on your page via Sort Content.
